The shimmer effect is subtle but really elevates a simple card design, and the ink pad itself stays perfectly moist even after a few uses. I pressed lightly for a soft wash and then heavier for the full two-tone blend — both came out beautifully on my textured paper.

The two-tone colors blend surprisingly well on paper, and the shimmer shows up even on darker cardstock without looking glittery mess. Only wish the pad were a bit larger, but for detailed stamping it's plenty.

The shimmer really does give a beautiful multi-toned effect on paper, and the color combo in Arctic Flower is lovely for card making. It's a bit pricey for an inkpad, but the quality is there and it should last a while.
